What is Send Flowers To?
Send Flowers To is a public art initiative led by The Wild Mother Creative Studio. When a compelling story arises, we create a large-scale floral installation in response to a social issue, injustice, or moment of collective grief. These offerings are both altar and protest—artful rituals meant to bring visibility, care, and truth-telling into public spaces.

Through flowers, performance, and collective grief work, we honored the lives lost, the generational trauma endured, and the enduring power of Black memory and resilience.

What is Send Flowers To Survivors?
Send Flowers To Survivors is the fourth activation in The Wild Mother’s Send Flowers To series—a large-scale, public floral installation that brought visibility and empathy to criminalized survivors of domestic violence in Oklahoma. Through beauty and truth-telling, we centered the stories of women and femmes who were punished by the justice system for acts of self-defense or survival.
